This graph shows yearly temperatures compared to the 20th century average and atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations (gray line) from 1880 to 2019. The graph structure appears to show a dramatic rise in both, which really is just 1 degree C and just 130 parts per million. Elsewhere, national governments, at the urgings of the United Nations, have made massive commitments to reach what they call carbon neutrality.
