The authors of this academic paper cited here call it a perspective, which means there is a lot of guessing involved. The author of this paper says: "Accelerating research on this topic is critical in view of rapid climate change driven by anthropogenic activities."
Frankly, I haven't seen a lot of change in climate except in the popular press. Would a few cites be possible? Such as the change in world temperature since the 1970s. The a satellite records say "The linear warming trend since January, 1979 still stands at +0.13 C/decade (+0.11 C/decade over the global-averaged oceans, and +0.18 C/decade over global-averaged land)." (https://www.drroyspencer.com/) But I caution against extrapolating from the current data to the future, as most computer models do.
