Thjat's not what the man said. He meant that Srinivansan was a superior jurist than the woman who got the job. He was being critical of the president making a deal with a black congressman for promising to appoint a black woman, an act that normally would be illegal under U.S. laws. And exactly what does the color of anyone's skin have to do with faithfully following the Constitution?
